The pot is $100.
Now comes a question that seems incredibly simple:
How much should you bet?
$25?
$50?
$75?
The entire pot?

For many poker players, bet sizing is almost automatic. They find a size they like — usually somewhere around half-pot or two-thirds pot — and use it again and again regardless of the board, opponent, stack depth or purpose of the bet.
But the amount you bet is part of the decision itself.
A $25 bet and a $100 bet aren’t simply two different ways of betting the same hand. They give your opponent different pot odds, attack different parts of their range, generate different amounts of fold equity and build completely different pots for future streets.
