iPoker Tests All-In or Fold: Hold’em, Omaha, Rules & Rake

A new poker format is being tested on the Playtech-powered iPoker network. All-In or Fold (AoF) reduces every preflop decision to two actions: move all-in or fold. The format has appeared on several international iPoker skins, with Hold’em and Omaha variants and support for selected cash-game and tournament structures.
That makes it fast, but not automatically easy. Removing postflop decisions also concentrates risk into repeated preflop all-ins, changing the importance of starting-hand selection, stack size, rake and bankroll management.
For The Poker Broker readers, there is also a practical network question: we offer access to iPoker through ChampionPoker, but have not independently verified that AoF is already live on the ChampionPoker client. This guide separates confirmed network features from availability that still needs checking.

🃏 What Is iPoker All-In or Fold?
In a normal Hold’em or Omaha cash game, a player can check, call, raise, and make new decisions on the flop, turn and river. In All-In or Fold, the entire strategic choice presented before the flop is compressed into ALL-IN or FOLD. There are no ordinary preflop calls or small raises.
iPoker’s international network has begun trialling the format, reported publicly on October 20, 2026, ahead of a wider announced rollout. The available network documentation describes both No-Limit Hold’em and Omaha versions, with separate game tiles for AoF cash games, tournaments and Sit & Go offerings.
The exact available stakes, table traffic, country coverage and timing of any wider launch can depend on the operator and client version. A game being introduced to the shared network does not prove that every skin currently offers it.
We previously investigated the broader ecosystem in iPoker Network in 2026: What Is Actually Going On?.
🎯 How All-In or Fold Actually Works
Once seated, the player receives hole cards and has to select all-in or fold by the end of the action timer. Selecting a button in the client can trigger a visible animation, but the decision can still be changed before the turn ends according to the published interface description.
If opponents fold, the hand ends without a showdown. If opposing players commit their stacks, the game resolves the all-in situation using the normal poker-hand rules of its variant. The cards still matter; AoF changes the betting decision tree, not the ranking of poker hands.
It is important not to confuse AoF with fast-fold poker. Fast-fold moves a player to another hand after folding, while AoF is defined by whether players can do anything other than shove or fold preflop. The concepts are different even though both encourage rapid play.

♠️ NLH vs Omaha: Why the Decisions Are Different
No-Limit Hold’em uses two hole cards, and preflop equities vary dramatically with hand strength, stack sizes and the number of opponents. With only shove-or-fold decisions available, the right range depends on the money already committed, the effective stack, other players’ calling strategies and any tournament payout considerations.
Omaha uses four hole cards and requires exactly two hole cards and three community cards to make a hand. As a result, apparently dominant starting hands frequently have less preflop equity than newcomers expect, especially against coordinated premium hands or multiway opposition.
A strong-looking Omaha hand can still be only a modest favorite. Conversely, double-suited, connected holdings can retain significant equity against premium pairs. Copying a Hold’em shove chart into an Omaha AoF game is a serious strategic mistake.
The operator has documented AoF availability for both Hold’em and Omaha on participating implementations. That does not confirm identical table sizes, blinds, rake or stack depth between the two variants.

🏆 Cash Games, Shootouts and Satellites
The published iPoker format specification covers regular cash games as well as selected tournament variants: Shootout Sit & Go, Shootout multi-table tournaments and satellites. AoF is not a universal setting that can be enabled for every tournament in the network.
The same specification excludes Speed games, Flight events, Twister, Twister Arena, knockout tournaments and knockout Sit & Go variants. Tournament Deals, Run It Twice and Cash Out functions are also not supported in the documented AoF format.
These limitations matter. A player expecting a normal multi-street cash-out or run-it-twice experience can discover that the controls are simply unavailable at the AoF table. Check the tournament lobby and client rules before registering.
💰 Rake and Fees: Is AoF Expensive?
Rake is the central question when evaluating a rapid all-in game. AoF may generate many preflop confrontations over a short period, so even a small average fee can become important across a long session.
The iPoker cash-game structure differs by stakes and player count. Some network skin materials describe a no flop, no drop rule for their ordinary cash tables. However, that rule and a standard cash-game rake chart must not be automatically assumed to provide a complete AoF-specific fee schedule.
We have not verified a single current rake rate, cap, or hand-volume average covering every AoF implementation. Consequently, no claim such as “AoF costs exactly 5%” or “AoF is the cheapest iPoker format” would be justified.
For any cash AoF table, check the exact game-specific rake information in the active client. For tournaments, compare the entry fee against the prize pool and pay attention to the cost of repeating short, high-variance events.
Our background guides on poker rake and its effect on winrate and dealt versus contributed rakeback provide useful context for measuring the real cost.
🧠 Can You Beat iPoker All-In or Fold?
A limited decision tree does not eliminate skill. It changes where skill enters the game. Instead of playing complex turn and river situations, an AoF grinder must make repeated equity-sensitive preflop choices under pressure.
Three factors can create or destroy an advantage: your own opening shove ranges, how opponents call or fold, and the actual cost of participating. Calling too widely can be expensive, but so can folding away profitable opportunities when blinds and antes are already committed.
An illustrative example: you face a decision to risk 10 big blinds to win a pot with 2 big blinds already dead. Your break-even equity when called cannot be evaluated from the size of that pot alone; you also need the chance everyone folds, the effective stack, any rake and all remaining players’ strategies.
The appropriate threshold in a cash game is not necessarily the same as in a shootout or satellite, where payout structure and tournament survival may alter the value of chips. A one-size-fits-all AoF hand chart is therefore unlikely to be reliable.
The Poker Broker has not run a dedicated real-money AoF sample on this iPoker release. Any assertion that the new format is easy to beat, full of recreational players or profitable at particular stakes would be premature without such testing.
📉 Variance and Bankroll Management
Repeated preflop all-ins naturally expose the player to substantial short-run swings. Even a good all-in decision loses often, and strings of lost flips can occur without indicating that a strategy is unprofitable.
Avoid interpreting a few hundred hands as proof of a winrate. Where tracking data is available, separate chip results, rake, promotions and cashbacks. Judge both technical decisions and financial outcomes over a much larger sample.
Because exact available buy-ins and rake may vary by game, there is no universal bankroll recommendation suitable for every AoF stake. The key is to choose risk limits that remain tolerable during extended downswings, and not to chase losses by moving up.
💻 Where Can Players Find iPoker AoF?
Network documentation from a participating skin describes several ways to find AoF: a dedicated game tile on the home page, a featured-game tile, or an item in the desktop navigation. Cash, tournaments and Sit & Go categories may have separate entries.
As of October 22, 2026, the format is described as being in a testing or early deployment phase on the international iPoker network, with a broader rollout expected. That is not a confirmed release date or a guarantee of availability across every skin or jurisdiction.
Before creating a new account solely to play AoF, check whether the lobby actually lists the format and suitable stakes. Verify the table rules, fees, and availability in your country. A room can share iPoker liquidity while still differing in offered game tiles and promotions.
🤝 ChampionPoker: Our iPoker Rakeback Offer
The Poker Broker offers ChampionPoker, an established skin of Playtech’s iPoker network. Players registered through our tracked arrangement can receive a 30% baseline rakeback on eligible play, and the room’s monthly Rake Chase may increase measurable rewards to approximately 46.7% at its highest verified milestone. The maximum is conditional, not guaranteed to every player.
Our September 29 ChampionPoker client check confirmed active Hold’em cash tables and standard iPoker lobby sections for Hold’em, Omaha, Speed Poker, Twister, Sit & Go and MTTs. It did not verify an AoF lobby on ChampionPoker. We would therefore not promise AoF access through ChampionPoker until that game tile and its terms have been checked directly.
If you are considering iPoker, start with our ChampionPoker Review: Traffic, Rake and Rakeback. It explains the operator’s software, cashier, eligible countries, verified traffic snapshot, rake structure, and the tracked rakeback arrangement.
The 30% base deal must not automatically be assumed to apply to a future AoF table in the same way as ordinary cash games; check which format-specific fees and rewards count towards the program. We would rather explain that limitation clearly than promise a promotion that has not been verified.
🏁 Final Thoughts
All-In or Fold is a meaningful addition to iPoker’s game selection. It creates a direct, fast-paced preflop format for both Hold’em and Omaha while retaining the underlying hand-ranking rules.
Its appeal is obvious for players who enjoy simple decisions and rapid action. Its profitability, however, remains a separate question: the real answer depends on rake, effective stack depth, the player pool, volume and well-constructed shove/fold strategy.
The strongest conclusion today is straightforward. AoF is documented and being tested on iPoker; availability on ChampionPoker has not yet been established. Players interested in the wider network and verified rewards can consult our ChampionPoker review while watching for an operator-specific AoF announcement.
