🎯 No Fireworks, Just Solid Poker
Today’s session wasn’t particularly exciting.
No crazy hero calls.
No unbelievable suck-outs.
No massive swings.
In many ways, this was the first session that actually felt… normal.
And I think that’s a good sign.
When I first arrived on Red Dragon Poker, every session felt like complete chaos. Every hand seemed impossible to predict and every decision felt like I was navigating a completely different game.
Now, I’m starting to expect what happens.
That doesn’t mean I know everything yet.
It simply means the player pool is becoming more familiar.
🃏 The Same Crazy Hands… Every Session
Some things never seem to change on Red Dragon Poker.
Once again I picked up AK, made one of those huge 40BB+ preflop raises, got called by multiple players…
…and naturally the flop came incredibly connected, leaving me with no profitable continuation.
A week ago those spots would have frustrated me.
Now they’re simply part of the ecosystem.
That’s how these games work.
Players are willing to call enormous raises with an extremely wide range, which creates situations that look bizarre if you’re used to traditional online poker.
Instead of fighting that reality, I’m learning to exploit it.
🧠 The More I Play, The More It Makes Sense
I don’t think I’ve mastered Red Dragon Poker.
The sample is still far too small to make strong conclusions.
But something has definitely changed over the last few sessions.
I’m no longer trying to force my previous strategy onto this environment.
Instead, I’m adapting to what the games are actually giving me.
That’s probably the biggest lesson of this challenge so far.
Every poker room has its own ecosystem.
Trying to play them all exactly the same simply doesn’t work.
The bankroll continues to grow, but more importantly, my confidence in the adjustments I’m making continues to grow as well.
Now it’s just a matter of putting in more volume and seeing whether these reads continue to hold over a much larger sample.

Ironically, the least spectacular sessions are often the most valuable.
Today wasn’t about winning huge pots or making incredible reads.
It was about consistency.
One of the biggest mistakes players make when moving to a new poker ecosystem is trying to judge it after only a few sessions.
The Professor is starting to do the opposite.
He’s allowing the field to teach him how it wants to be played instead of forcing preconceived ideas onto it.
That’s exactly how long-term adjustments are built.
The sample remains relatively small, but the process is becoming increasingly solid.
💭 Final Thoughts
There wasn’t a single hand today that will end up on a highlight reel.
And that’s perfectly fine.
Sessions like this are what long-term poker actually looks like.
No drama.
No miracle run.
Just steady adaptation, disciplined decisions and another positive step forward.
The challenge continues.
